What You Can Do

• Have a live, back and forth spoken conversation with AI
• Choose which voice model to talk to
• Pick a voice for the AI (when the model offers a choice)
• Give the AI a system prompt so it behaves a certain way (when the model supports it)
• See a live transcript of what you and the AI say
• Interrupt the AI mid reply
• See how long you've been talking and how many credits you've spent

How It Works

Start a conversation

1. Go to /voice.
2. Pick a Model from the dropdown. Below it you'll see the per minute rate (in credits) and a short cost estimate for reference call lengths.
3. If the model offers voices, choose one from the Voice dropdown, or leave it on Default.
4. If the model supports it, you can type an optional System prompt to shape how the AI responds (for example "You are a friendly support agent for Acme Co.").
5. Click Start. Your browser will ask for microphone access — allow it.
6. Once it connects you'll see a Live indicator with a running timer. Just start talking; the AI listens continuously and replies out loud. There's no send button.

During the conversation

• Watch the Transcript panel to read what you and the AI say as you go.
• To cut off the AI while it's speaking, click Interrupt.
• The timer shows how long you've been talking, and the credits spent so far appear next to it.

End the conversation

1. Click Stop. This ends the session and releases your microphone.
2. You're billed for the actual time you spoke — per second, against your workspace credits.

Requirements

• Plan: all
• Role: any member of a workspace
• A working microphone, and microphone permission granted to the browser

Common Issues

Microphone access is required to start a voice session → Your browser blocked the microphone. Allow microphone access for the site in your browser settings, then click Start again.

You're out of credits. Top up to start a voice session. → Voice sessions are billed to your workspace credits. Top up under Settings → Billing (/settings/billing), then start again.

Session ended — no credits remaining. → The session ran until your credits ran out and ended automatically. Top up under Settings → Billing to continue.

No realtime voice models are available right now. → There are no voice models to talk to at the moment. Try again later.
